English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)
In accordance with the California Education Code, section 52176(b), all schools with twenty-one or more English learner (EL) students, not including Reclassified Fluent English Proficient (RFEP) students, are required to establish an ELAC. All parents with students attending Hale Charter Academy are eligible and are encouraged to participate in the ELAC. ELAC is responsible for providing recommendations based on student performance and family engagement data to the Hale Charter Council (HCC).
